This Sunday, July 20th, you again have TWO great options for ways to enjoy music in the city…
OPTION #1 Opera + Shuffleboard….WOW.
The oh-so-talented crew at Opera on Tap is showcasing “America’s Beauties, “a program of all American musical gems. From Thomas Moore, to Marc Blitzstein, and Adam Guettal. No need for super titles this time around. Managing Diva Kim Giordano hosts, with the talents of Ksenia Popova, Melissa Plageman, Erica Row, Sheila Houlahan, Robert McPherson, and Benjamin Harris.” All accompanied by Seattle Opera pianist David McDade!
This unique opportunity to experience opera in a non-traditional setting like while playing a game of shuffleboard or chess with a beer/cider in hand is happening at Captiol Cider on Capitol Hill in the Pike/Pine corridor. Capitol Cider is known for having a gluten free menu, multiple ciders on tap, and games galore…
Show starts at 7pm. (The show is 21+). Approx. $5 cover.
OPTION #2 Sunset Beaches and Indie Rock
Each summer, the organizers of amazing musical festivals like Timber Music Festival and Doe Bay Fest organize a FREE musical event at Golden Gardens Park called The Bonfire Series. While you sit watching the sun set over the Olympic mountains, you will be listening to some great music while being warmed by a bonfire in a beach fire pit.
Music starts at 6:30 p.m. Bring your blankets, a picnic, and some warm clothes for when the sun sets and enjoy what makes Seattle so unique!
