A MUST SEE for any holiday season is visiting Bellevue Botanical Gardens where they have transformed their property with 1/2 million lights into a enchanted night time wonderland. Inspired by plants found in Northwest gardens and gardens around the world, hundreds of volunteers have been busy making new creations. New this year is the cutest bear you’ve ever seen! Honey Bear joins Snap d’Dragon and a list of over 30 “critters” including Charlotte in her web and Willie the Slug. You won’t want to miss the “Aquarium in Lights” in the Visitor Center with the pulsing jellyfish and our own octopus, or the gorgeous pond and border display on the main lawn.
Tickets are only $5 per person (children 10 and under are free). Tickets can be purchased online to avoid the lines.
There are also FREE nights on December 3, 4, 5 and December 9, 10, 11, 12. Usually all can be accommodated on free nights, but event staff will be present to control the flow of entrants so everyone can have an enjoyable experience. There could be a wait.
